KonTiki is just a dream place...
Marco and his family is the owner of KonTiki. He is swiss man, who arrived to Vilcabamba more then 10 years ago. Following his heart he was hiking all mountains around magic village of Vilcabamba to find the right place, the dream place. And one day he found it and in one second get totally in love with it. It took some times to buy this beautifull 130ha. Then he started to construct the house and it was no so easy, because to arrive to the land you has to hike 3 hours from Vilcabamba.
After some years the house was build and ready to live. All rustic design it makes this house full of magic and love. You can see and feel the work of Marco putted inside the house and land. Immagin that one of the path to arrive to the water he made in "only" 3 months of hard work every day. Yes, Marco is the power work man, he loves to spend days by working and realize his dream's projects. But he also play many instruments, he has a family, he is also an intuitive artist and very good cook - bread made by him is number one in Vilcabamba...
It is not easy to describe him because he is unique personality as much as unique is KonTiki...
